Afraid of the Dentist?  Hate remembering long dental appointments?  With IV Conscious Sedation your dental visit will be enjoyable, seem short, and you will not remember most of it.  With IV Sedation you can correct years of neglect and have your mouth completely rehabilitated in a couple of appointments.

Dr. Lottier earned over 200 hours of specialized training in Sedation Dentistry.  He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiologist, certified in ACLS, BLS, licensed by the state of Georgia for moderate conscious sedation, and has sedated hundreds of patients.

Who's a candidate for Sedation Dentistry?  Most people are candidates for Sedation Dentistry.  It is recommended for long appointments like multiple root canals, extractions, bone grafts, wisdom teeth extractions, multiple dental implant placements, or having multiple crowns and veneers made.  With conscious sedation you will be in a dreamlike state during the procedure, you might drift off to sleep, but you can response to verbal stimulus.  Conscious sedation is safe, you will have complete control of your breathing.  Time will past quickly and once you go home you will sleep peacefully not remembering most of the long appointment.

Our patients love to be treated with sedation dentistry.  Most of them wonder why most dentist don't offer it.   Well one reason is that it requires a huge time and financial committment and to be trained in IV conscious sedation.   Dr. Lottier was trained at the University of Alabama's Sedation Residency program which consists of over 100 hours of didatic training and live patient sedations in their Oral Surgery Department. He has trained been trained to handle sedation and dental emergencies.   Your safety is his primary concern.  All patients are screened and monitored with a state of the art vital signs monitor at all times.
